Scheduling Maintenance
Plan and communicate scheduled downtime.
Creating Maintenance
- Go to Admin → Maintenance
- Click Schedule Maintenance
- Fill in the details
- Set the schedule
- Click Create

Maintenance Statuses

| In Progress | Currently happening |

| Cancelled | Maintenance was cancelled |
Advance Notice
Recommended notice periods:

| Minor (non-disruptive) | 24-48 hours |
| Standard | 3-5 days |
| Major | 1-2 weeks |
| Critical infrastructure | 2-4 weeks |
Timing Best Practices
- Schedule during low-traffic periods
- Consider time zones of your users
- Avoid holidays and weekends if possible
- Build in buffer time
During Maintenance
- Update status to "In Progress" when starting
- Post updates on progress
- Mark "Completed" when done
- Post completion summary
